Will a dual Core 2.0 from an r60 fit in any of the T-series?

Not in a T4x, unfortunately. You can install a dual Core into a T6x, but the T4x require a totally different CPU.

Physically the CPU will fit without issue. If you want to use your ThinkPad though there is the problem mentioned above.

I was thinking the CPU, but if the motherboard would fit, I have the motherboard.

Ps. I noticed that the specs say that the R60, type 9457-Y1X has a 1400 x 1050 monitor.

Does that make it an SXGA-the same as my T41? Will it interchange?

No, the cpu/motherboard/screen from an R60 will not go in a T41.
