T43 With 22" Wide Screen

Hi All,

I have a Thinkpad T42 (type 2378) and a mini dock.

I'm now using a standard ratio 19" monitor with the dock and I run it in the same resolution as the laptop is setup for (1024 X 768).

I would like to replace the 19" monitor with a 22" wide screen monitor.

Does anyone know if the T42 would be able to support a resolution of 1600 X 1080 when it is connected to the wide screen monitor through the mini dock?

shouldn't be a problem. If it doesn't work with the standard ATI driver, google for the "omega drivers" and use those instead.
