Hello:
I have a T-40p with the 64 Mb Fire GL video driver. When connecting a Viewsonic VP17 flat panel LCD through the DVI connector, my LCD displays a nice overall pinkish hue.
It did work fine at first, then I tried the ATI driver with the mobility mod (per some threads here), and that's when the problem started. I cleaned out the ATI drivers, and have reinstalled the latest IBM driver.
Still same problem. When I connect the the analog connector, everything is OK.
Also, when I connect my new T42 (nice machine - thanks, Bill!), through the DVI/PR option, the display is OK - no problems, so it's not a bum DVI connector.
So, does the collective wisdom of this board think my T40p problem is hardware or software (driver) issue?
TIA for your suggestions,
Regards,
Mike
