Anyone use dial up networking (DUN) via bluetooth on T42?

#1 Post by pufftissue » Wed Dec 29, 2004 5:12 am

Hi,
I need to know how to do this for the Treo 650. I am beginning to think there is a glitch in the IBM software such that you can't use your treo as a bluetooth modem. I did it just fine with a dell 8600, so I am inclined to think that I know what I'm doing. But I can't think of a reason why it shouldn't be able to be done, so please someone tell me if you have bluetooth DUN working on your t42.

Thanks

Here is a question for you, are you using the original firmware the phone was shipped with? Because if you are Sprint disable the Bluetooth DUN on their firmware because it was "not ready for prime time." However there is a fix for this. Some one over at Treocentral.com has cracked the firmware and has enabled Bluetooth DUN for Sprint Treo 650's. Check it out...
