Trackpoint causes crash whilst scrolling (t20)

I've a fresh install of xp on a t20. I've downloaded and installed the latest trackpoint drivers (ver 3.13). On occasion, when I use the third mouse button in combination with the trackpoint to scroll, the computer freezes, then shows a BSOD and reboots. Does anyone else have this problem and is there a fix for it? It only happens about once a week, but I can't really see why it should occur at all.
