2373-CYU ship dates?

Since my build is delayed until month's end, I was looking around at TABOOK for a similar config. 2373-CYU is basically what I've built (save for the 80GB in the CYU vs the 60GB in my build). Since I couldn't build that one online and couldn't find it listed as an express model to order I called a rep. The guy I spoke with said the 2373-CYU has a 4 week lead time. Anyone order one of those recently and have an earlier ship date (since ship dates on the order status page can change dramatically)?

I think they are just generally saying that all T42's are on a 4 week backorder. I think it is luck of the draw...you most likely get it before the estimated ship date.

I ordered my 2373-CYU on May 14th or so and received it on May 24th. I have since RMA'd it and now I'm awaiting my T42p.

I placed an order for a 2373-CYU yesterday (June 3rd). My order status page currently shows: "Your order is scheduled to ship by 07/12/2004".

I placed an order for a 2379-DXU on 5/30 and like everyone else I'm hoping it ships before the scheduled date. Which in my case is in the distant future (8/9!).

Yeah, my original order was a custom build with the 2378-EYU as a base. That one was ordered on 5/27 and had the 8/9 ship date as well.

Well, this morning next to status, it said "Customizing/Packing". Unfortunately, the order status site has been down all day so I haven't been able to go back and confirm that. Hopefully, it is accurate and my unit will ship out in the next week or so.

The day after I had "customizing/packing", the status changed to shipped. Mine has made it from China to ... to Oakland since Thursday and has only 50 more miles to reach its new home. Good luck with yours!

I cancelled an EXU order on 5/30 and ordered a DYU on the same day. Up until last Thursday morning it showed a 7/13 ship date. That day I received an email saying that it had shipped.

Well, the order status site is back up and running. My order does indeed still say "Status: Customizing\Packing". I have 2 other items in my order (Mini-Dock and a 9-Cell battery) which show an estimated ship date of June 8th so maybe everything will ship on Tuesday.
