I have heard that a few of us now have ordred the 2373-KXU from you, I was wondering what your ETA from IBM is now, since we are hearing about dates slipping and yet some being delivered...what does the order you put in for us who ordred early say?

I pulled the trigger and ordered the KXU from IBM on 1-Jun. They have switched the status of my order a bunch of times (e.g., from ship date to contact Sales Rep, etc.).

I just received a response to an order status request. It states that, "Please note, according to our records, the T42P ThinkPad that you have ordered is currently not in stock. The ETA is 4 weeks for the stock to arrive."

Any body else hearing a similar thing?

My T42p 2373-GRU ordered on the IBM.com site says July 12th... used to say July 5th...

Unfortunately, some of us (or, me, at least) were not aware of Bills existence when we ordered. Which is a shame, because I've had an X21 for 3yrs and I could've used this well-informed community.

I ordered on May 28, and the Order Status has changed a few times for me as well.
It was Aug 9th (like others have posted), but has said "Call" for a week now.
I have called numerous times, of course.

One thing that is different now.
It gives me individual dates for the different components on my custom Express Model.
I assume the change has something to do with all the fixes/updates IBM is doing to get their T42-info/ordering straightened out.

I was thinking of canceling my order, and re-ordering thru Bill. The 2373-3UU that Bill has is almost exactly what I ordered except I ordered the 15" (and I only have 1yr warrenty at the moment).
But Bill's 2373-3UU is still slightly more than I paid ($2393 vs $2282.70)
Am I missing something?
