Uninstall the current package first before installing a prev

#1 Post by pej2000 » Sat Sep 20, 2008 9:44 pm

I have a T42 and am trying to update with the Thinkpad System Update software.

It lists 3 packages that need to be updated and then gives me the message "Uninstall the current package first before installing a previous version".

The packages are:
On Screen Display
Thinpad web navigation keys agent
Thinpad FullScreen Magnifier

None of these show up in my Add/remove Programs list.

Can anyone tell how to get through this and continue with the update?

THanks for any and all suggestions!

Thanks for the response.

I don't see any programs with "hotkey" in the name. Definitely nothing that is called "hotkey features package".
