Hi all,
I did a search but didn't find anything...
I recently replaced my HDD (orig. failed) and now that I've restored from my backup I get a message that the embedded security chip is deactivated. I've tried running CSS to activate it but no success. I've gone into the BIOS and the chip is active. I've even tried deactivating the chip in the BIOS and then restarting and then following the CSS prompts, no success. Reactivated the chip in the BIOS and restart, no success.
Any thoughts on how to re-activate the chip would be appreciated.
-Thanks
