How long should i be able to last on battery Vista T43

#1 Post by i-SnipeZ » Thu Oct 09, 2008 12:53 pm

I can get about 4:45 minutes w/ the six cell just surfing the new w/ extreme battery selected in the Lenovo Power Manager. It also says my battery holds 93% of original capacity. Is this good for battery life as all the things ive read say it can last about 6 hours but i believe they are exagerating.

There's why you get 4:45. Plus Vista will use more power than XP, though it probably isn't the main cause. Also keep in mind that the T43 uses more power than the older T4x's.

Be sure to check out the NHC undervolting software, if you take the time to set it up it will make a big difference.

I'd tend to be skeptical rather than jealous...
