BMDC on T43

I have T41 with "ThinkPad Integrated Bluetooth with 56K Modem (BMDC)". My new bought T43 will arrive today; it does not come with Bluetooth module. HMM shows that T43 uses "IBM Integrated Bluetooth IV with 56K Modem (BMDC-3)". Can BMDC be used on T43? Or T43 only supports BMDC-3? Thanks.

If you use other BMDC than those allowed, you will get an error message at boot time.
