I finally received my own ibm thinkpad on Monday. I was really really glad!!!
BUT!!! unfortunately it disappointed me. As soon as I received it, I tried to create my own recovery cd using the "create own recovery cd" program. Weirdly, it kept asked me to insert blank CDs till 15. -_-;; I cancelled it at CD # 15 because I had no more blank cds. After I cancelled it and restarted my computer, it automatically started with recovery and rescue program. There was no way for me to access to window -_- I called IBM and they told me that I must have done something wrong and I should reboot my computer to the factory stage. I tried using access IBM(I am still waiting for the recovery CD), but everytime it failed when it reached like 70% I am kind of regretting about buying IBM.
Also, I wonder if the thinkpads are supposed me weak. It looks ultra strong but the frame of the screen seems weak. When I put some pressue to the vertical frame of the screen, it shakes. Is it supposed be like this?
Should I return it? Would they exchange it if I ask?
I am just hoping that when I receive the recovery CD, it will work normally. Since the frame is bit weak, I am afraid to take it outside my room T_T
should I return my 2373-3xu?
