I am also interested in the 2373-3UU (or the 2373-9XU if the price is right). Keep me in mind if we get enough interest. When does the offer expire?

not really wanting to swap drives..
better for you to just buy a 60gig or 80gig drive..

i just noticed all the nice things said about me.. :D
thank you..!

here are the terms:

you must pay in full with your order..
i estimate ibm will ship to me WITHIN 25 ibm days after placing the order..
i will then ship to you..
shipping charges are as follows:
UPS ground in the continental (ex. alaska) USA = $24, two day = $45, overnight = $65..
payment by bank wire (add $10) or (depending on your location) direct deposit to one of my banks..
i also take checks, personal or cashiers..

within the first 2 weeks, i will exchange or refund if you are not happy but there will be a 10% restock fee..
for an exchange, you pay all shipping charges..
add $100 for a pixel check and test prior to shipping..

i THINK thats about it..

the reason for the pay in advance thing is i ate up all my buying power with the last deal on the 3VU and those have not yet shipped..

questions..? want to participate..?
send me an email..

email if there are any questions.. :-)

have you guys checked out 2378-DXU? IBM list price is at $2,429.00. Correct me if I'm wrong but it has a 15" screen, and a 60G 7200RPM hard drive. Unfortunately the warranty is only for one year. In any case, if Bill can give us a deal on this, would you guys reconsider? Just a thought...the 23733UU is close enough though, so I really wouldn't mind. Let me know if this pushes through.....like most of you, my only hesitation is the payment method. It takes a lot of trust to do something like this :?

I spoke with Mr. Bill today, seemed like a very nice person, I read what a lot of other people had said about him, I have no problems dealing with him.

The 2378-DXU might be a better deal considering what Mr. B can work out. I'd be interested in either one if the price is right!

The 2378-DXU experienced the "price drop". It is only $2299 now, and with the 3yr warranty (2379-DXU) it is $2399

... am thinking of RMA'ing my 2378-EXU when it arrives (especially if Bill offers the DXU).

T42 2378-DXU (upgrade: 1.5GB ram 60GB 7200rpm)

I would be interested in a group buy of 2379-DXUs, preferring the larger hard drive and large screen over the 2373-3UU.
