Power questions for Port Replicator 74P6733 or 13R0292

Couldn't find this on Lenovo or via search -
(1) does the Port Replicator II use the same power brick as the T42 (the model I'm interested in, 2373)?
(2) if so, do you need 2 bricks to run T42 + Replicator, one for each?
(3) does the Replicator offer any functionality when run w/o power, or via the T42 battery?

- same brick
- only one needed if using power
- power not required (apparently), since it's just pass-through
