Did Anyone Get the $1199 T42 Deal?

Great News! IBM re-instated my order for the $1199 T42. Shipping date is 1/20/05 or sooner. My faith in IBM is restored. They were very professional about it once I got to the supervisor. This person straightened the mixup quickly. And I am now set to get my first Thinkpad. I am excited. And I intend to tell 20 people about the great customer service I recieved. Thanks Big Blue.

If it makes you feel any better, I haven't had to deal with order reinstatement and my ship date is also on or before the 20th. So you didn't move too far back in the queue--if at all.
