I am looking to start researching my next lapptop purchase and am wondering if the IBM T4x series will be seeing either of NVidia or ATI's upcoming upgradeable graphics solutions for mobile products?
IBM tends to be slow to adopt these things so I am betting it will be a while but I am just curious if anyone has heard anything.
Also does anyone have any opinions or facts on how IBM's sale of their PC unit will effect the Thinkpad line?
What's next for the T-line of notebooks? Upgradeable GPUs?

As far as I know, there will NOT be upgradeable GPUs in the Thinkpad line. IBM will use the ATI PCIe GPUs (X300, X600, etc.)
In regards to the sale of IBM, no one knows for sure what the outcome will be. If you want a slew of opinions, just go to the "IBM sold the PC Division" thread at the bottom of the forum index and have a blast reading.
