Dead pixel
Dead pixel
I just notice a dead pixel on my T-30 thinkpad. Is that a sign for more dead pixels down the road, if so, is there a remedy for this?

I don't believe it's a sign of more. I think it's just an unlucky, possibly one time thing. There isn't much of a remedy, besides a replacement.
Make sure it's an actual dead pixel. If you have the ultra nav thingie, click the middle button with the blue line on it a few times. See if it goes away.
Also, you can try rubbing on the dead pixel with a cloth. Apparently that can sometimes fix it if it's "stuck" but not dead. I've never seen it work though.
Good luck.

I have two "dead" pixels on my t40, one is red and onother is blu, but the strange thing is thet when I go whit the cursor underneath it it is not visible, or now when I'm writing this post the dead pixeals are not visible. How can I get rid of them? I tryed the navkey but I wont work, or try to describe hov to do it. Thx
