This is on my dad's T42 with the Radeon 9600, BT was included.
Here is the history:
He has used a pair of bluetooth mice, one at home and the other at an office, both are the Model 1001 MS Intellimouse Explorer for Bluetooth. Both worked fine until a few days ago, now neither of them work.
Since I had my new Kensington bluetooth mouse, I tried connecting it - it works flawlessly. The MS mouse works flawlessly on my laptop. I cannot get it to connect on his laptop.
Any ideas on reviving his mice?

Other info...
In the tray, the BT icon is red an says no devices found. My Kensington is connected an working however.
When I add my Kensington to his laptop, I get the HID driver installation dialogue. I get nothing after I connect to the MS mouse on his laptop.
After I try adding the device to BT devices, it will appear until I close the window. When I reopen it, it's gone.
After adding the MS mouse, I see it in the list. I go into properties, and only the General and Services tabs are shown. When I hit the services tab, it searches for a moment before it comes up with the HID drivers, and the box is not checked. When I check the box, I get the message "Bluetooth Service Error - Access Denied"
