IBM Rapid Restore PC or Rescue and Recovery for T40p

I have installed Rescue and Recovery 3.10. It works fine. I have done several back-ups and have, sometimes, revert back to some of my backups using the RnR.

'Hope that helps. Do a search also because there will be problems encountered in using RnR.

As for me, I created a separate partition for my backup. When I do a backup I make sure I have 3 different types of backup: in the hard disk partition, on CD/DVD and in a usb disk drive. The slowest media is the CD/DVD and sometimes doesn't work. The better one is the USB hdd because I can isolate the USB hdd and keep it when not in use.

I have several crashes and sometimes I have (drastically) wiped the entire drive. But the USB hdd always saves me from the trouble of reinstalling.
