#1 Post by ASIS975 » Wed Nov 12, 2008 2:01 am

i need some help here. i have a problem with fingerprint reader os i called lenovo and they told me to uninstall the thyinkvantage fingerprint softwear and clear the chip in bios and clear the password in bios and then install the new fresh copy of fingerprint softwear from lenovo. so i did it but when i try to set up the fingerprint softwear it says this >>>> Other Logon replacement component (msgina.dll) is currently present in the system. We can try to cain our authentication thorugh this component but the functionatility depends on the behaviour of the 3rd party component. If you see any problem please disable this option .

so how can i disable this option ?? if i dont disable this option i am sure it will give me this code 0xe7210005 <<< ya can google it

thanks

msgina.dll controls the Windows logon and authentication functions. You would not want to disable this for security reasons.
