Wireless WiFi Interferes with Bluetooth Mouse

#1 Post by mbressman » Wed Dec 03, 2008 8:17 pm

I have a Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 and a Microsoft Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000 that I use with my T43p (2668-Q2U). However, every time the Intel PRO/Wireless 2915ABG WiFi connection reconnects, drops, etc., the mouse I'm using (either one - I use one when traveling and one when at home) all of a sudden becomes sluggish. I have to remove it from My Bluetooth Places and re-add it to get it to work correctly again. It's annoying to have to do this each time something occurs with my WiFi connection. Any idea why this is happening, or how I can fix it? Thanks!

I use a MS BT mouse and a Logitec VT270 BT mouse with a T43 that has a 2915ABG installed, with no problems.

What version of the Lenovo BT software are you using?

Cheers,

Hi Bill,

Thanks for the reply. I actually rebuilt my machine recently and updated all the drivers. The Bluetooth driver I'm using is this one: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-70450 and the Intel WiFi Driver I'm using is this one: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-70504

Does that help at all?

I'm using this version of the BT driver which is certified for a T43...
