X31 over to a used T40. Compatability?

My X31's motherboard failed, I have sense got a new laptop for myself; however, my girlfriend was looking for a cheap notebook so I picked up a used T40 on Ebay, its missing the hard drive and power adapter.

I have poked around online a little bit, does anyone know if the X31 power adapter and hard drive will work with the T40?

I will now go look some more on the internet and keep checking back. Thanks in advance!

Adapter and HDD will both work, as will RAM.
