Create Recovery Discs stole 1.5GB of my storage

I created the "Create Recovery Discs" utility on my T42p (2379DYU). It created 6 CDs. Now, I'm left with about 1.5GB less of HDD space. I spoke to IBM and they don't know where the app put the images and why it didn't clear them out after it successfully burned the CDs.

Does anyone know where the 1.5GB of data lives and how do I go about claiming it back?

I guess by creating these discs you installed Rapid Restore Ultra 4.0 on your new thinkpad, a very useful recovery program which needs according to

1.5 GB free HD space. If you don´t like it just remove it.

Just do a search by file size, and specify files larger than 500MB...

If you dont mind, one suggestion would be to have your hard drive fully wiped clean... IBM has an utility for that purpose... It's called Drive Fitness Test or DFT... It also serves the purpose of testing your hard drive for bad blocks and other problems alike...

Just download the utility, create the boot disk and when inside the program, just select the Erase Disk option... You will have a 100% blank HD after doing so...

Look in directory C:\IBMTOOLS\rrcd\
but first check option 'Show hidden files and folders' in Widows Explorer.
