New Multiburner (+ and -) in near future?

#1 Post by would » Sat Jun 05, 2004 12:25 pm

Do you think there'll be a new Multiburner Ultrabay Slim Drive for Ts with both, + and -, standards in the near future?

I hope so - because of the following fact:

Don't know if i'm right, but doesn't Samsung use 9,5mm drives in their P-Series notebooks? If they do so there must be a new +-RW DVD drive from LG.
The new Samsung P35 with 1,8Ghz Dothan ships with a new DVD-RW drive:

P.S.: The name of the drive: LG GVW-4040N

The 1,5 Ghz P35 ships with a 2x-R/RW Drive - maybe the Mathsita UJ-812 - like in the new Ts?

The 4040N is a 12.7mm drive, not 9.5mm.
