I keep having missing drivers on a T41 and a T43

I have loaded Win XP SP2 on a Thinkpad T41 and a T43 (Type: 1871-CTO). On both I still have missing drivers that I have hard time finding among the Win XP drivers on their Lenovo drivers list. I keep having Unknown Devices showing. I found all the others drivers including the wireless card drivers. Anyone has an idea what they might be? Thanks

Stephen, What divers are you missing?

It does not says which ones. I could have found them. All it shows in both cases Unknown Device. I hope I make sense.

ACPI driver is one of them that always pops up for me

not sure about the other one though...

I have installed XP SP2 at least a dozen times lately on the T41. The modem and ACPI drivers always come as the two "unknowns". The ethernet, wireless, audio and display devices also return the question mark in device manager but at least they are identified.

Have you tried loading SP3? I don't know why, but it seems to solve a lot of problems.

One of the missing drivers was the ACPI driver. So the T41 is done. I still missing one on the T43. I still going to look for it.Thanks.

Have you ever tried to run a system update ? :D
