Bluetooth

I've got a T43, having trouble with the Bluetooth.
My phone can discover my laptop, my laptop can discover my phone, I used the wizard to pair my phone to my laptop, I send the security code through and I accept it on the phone and enter the correct code but I keep getting the following message: Error in pairing with the device, to restore the connection push the connect button on the back of the HID device and try again.
The bluetooth is working on the phone as I can send items via Bluetooth to other phones.
I have no idea what this means, I have re-started the laptop but no help.
Any help greatly appreciated

Steq184184, Welcome to the forums.

Assuming you are using XP, go into Control Panel,then select System, then Device Manager. On the list should be 'Bluetooth Devices'. Expand this and one of the items listed will be 'Thinkpad Integrated Bluetooth'. Right click on this and find what driver is installed.

Mine driver is btwusb.sys and version 5.1.0.4700.

What is yours?

Hi Killer, have managed to get my Bluetooth working, you pointed me in the right direction, i just updated the Bluetooth drivers.
