Wireless chipset question. 2200BG vs. Atheros chipsets.

Okay, I have the 2379-R9U and I'm wondering, just how much better/worse is the Atheros A/B/G chipset in terms of range and sensitivity than the 2200BG. Also, what is the difference between the IBM 11a/b/g Wireless LAN Mini PCI Adapter (Model Name: 31P9701) and the IBM 11a/b/g Wireless LAN Mini PCI Adapter II (US) (Model Name: 73P4301)? I want to know b/c I'm thinking about pulling out the 2200BG and putting the Atheros chipset in if it has better range and sensitivity. Thanks in advance and kudos.

Oh thanks. I thought I saw something about on the forum. Wonder why I didn't see it in the search... guess my eyes are going.
