External 2048x1152 widescreen with a docked T42 possible?

I'm considering picking up one of those new 23" 16:9 Samsung 2343BWX displays, 2048x1152 native resolution, what are the chances it'll work with my T42 through the dock's DVI connector? Anybody tried this yet? Are the devices capable of this? Are there driver limitations?

Just went for it to see what would happen, and the answer is it works just fine! Details in the thread linked in previous post.
