Windows Security Alerts - "Firewall Warning"

#1 Post by RogerPodacter » Sat Jan 22, 2005 7:22 pm

Windows Security Alerts pops up everytime i boot up Windows to tell me that my computer might be at risk, and to "click here" to learn about this vulnerability. The problem is whether i enable or disable it, it always comes back on the next time i start up the laptop. Any thoughts or solutions?

I have the T42 2378-FVU.

There are two basic approaches: (1) Use AntiVirus and Firewall software recognized by SP2. The third party apps should disable these warnings if they are SP2 compliant. (2) There is a setting in the Security Center to disable the warnings. ... JD Hurst
