Problem with wlan performance on T43

Hello all Thinkpad users!

I'm having trouble with the wlan perforformance, on my T43 with integrated 54 Mbit wlan.

The problem is, that I'm only getting about 5 Mbit download speed, and my other notebook (Macbook), is getting 17-18 Mbits! I have tried reinstalling windows with the newest drivers from IBM, but it wont help...

The signal is displayed as full, and switching to a nower channel wont help.

The system is running XP sp3, and the router is a Linksys WRT54GL with Tomata firmware.

Can anyone help here?
