Bad screen contrast on a T21

#1 Post by jpfsanders » Thu Jan 27, 2005 6:27 am

Hi,

I bought a T21 about a year ago, I love that machine so much it has became my main machine now and I do not use my desktop too much lately...

But there's something I discover recently seeing another T21, the quality of the display image I get on mine is very poor.

I think this is because the contrast of the LCD is set too high, the consequence is that color is washed away, color quality is really poor.

Is there a way to change the LCD contrast using some sort of tool???? Or any other way to adjust the screen contrast???

Many Thanks.
Regards :)

yes, turn the gamma on the S3 down to 0.96.
It is in the display menu.

Sounds like the fluorescent lamp is worn out. Read my posting on Tuesday, Feb. 3 on this topic.
