#1 Post by stuart2000 » Thu Jan 27, 2005 1:56 pm

Hi Guys,
I need a slimbay adapter for an ultrabay 2000, ibm.co.uk sells them for £96 approx 150 us dollars, ibm.com sells them for 46 us dollars but will not ship to the uk. Other retailers within the uk aslo wasnt about 120 dollars, any help would be much appreciated.

regards

Stuart

There has GOT to be a problem in communication with IBM UK!

I know you pay a premium to enjoy all the benefits of the EU, but THREE times the US cost for what is, basically, a piece of plastic????

There's got to be a misunderstanding here, IBM's UK website lists the part for £45.83 at: http://www5.pc.ibm.com/uk/products.nsf/ ... enDocument

Yeah that sounds like the price of the second hard drive adaptor.

I paid in Germany about 50 € without tax ( with tax 58) ...so, there should be no problem to buy it within the EU, many retailers in germany ore elsewhere will ship to the UK. If you really ?!?, have to pay that much there
