X4x Tablet LCD in a non-Tablet X40 or X41 - will it work?

Does anyone know if an X4x tablet LCD can be used in a non-tablet X40 or X41?

I know the touchscreen feature/digitizer won't work, but will the LCD? Will it fit? Any other issues?
