T22 vs. R40.....confused!

#1 Post by ambientscape » Fri Jan 28, 2005 5:20 am

I have a great offer on a R40 with centrino pro and 40GB HDD. I'm giving my T22 to my gf. I'm not sure whether I would like the R40 and never have my hands on it before. Looking at the age of my T22, do you think I should let it go and have a try on R40?

Don't do it, get a new T-series instead. Worth every penny.

I wouldn't do it. The T series is better built and much more portable than the R series, which is sort of halfway in style between the heavier G's and the T's. I was looking at an R before I ended up getting my T40, and am very glad I did. Every ounce you save in weight can add a year to your spinal integrity...

Just my .02

If it's possible, use the R-40 a little. You might be surprised. I have one and I really like it but don't want to start an R&T war.
