I can't find any clear information about connecting a T42p (2373) with Linux to a flat panel display using the dock II for DVI at 1600*1200. IBM says it's not possible, but I find posts saying it is if you get the right driver... But most posts are talking Windows.
It would be a waste of money to buy the dock if it won't work with the display at 1600*1200.
