T42/T43 Inverters: Interchangeable?

I've searched the forum and haven't found a definitive answer to this. Are the T42 and T43 inverters interchangeable? The FRU for the T43 is different but the T42 FRU is not found in an IBM Maintenance Parts search, which leads me to believe they are interchangeable. The same thing applies to the 14.1" SXGA LCD cable assembly. Is my assumption correct?

My guess is they're interchangeable if the T43 and the T42 have the same type of LCD display backlight. There are multiple types of LCDs for either model, so they may be similar across both or incompatible across the same model (e.g. two T43s with diffferent LCDs).

They are interchangeable as long as you're sticking with the same LCD size and resolution.
