T43 with 1GB PC-5300 DDR2 667MHz sodimm

would like to check with you all will my T43 type-1872-E17 be able to support 1GB PC-5300 DDR2 667Mhz sodimm x 2? I've check through the net and basically point to only PC-4200 533MHz only...

That should work, but only at the speed of the motherboard's FSB, which is 533MHz.
It may even be slower, depending on the latency!
Unless there is a huge price difference, or you plan to update shortly to a T60 class laptop (which uses PC2-5300), try and get the PC2-4200 RAM instead.

The T43 i'm useing has 2 x 1 gig ddr2-667 chips in it(2 gigs total).
I know it's running at the lower speed but the system runs great.With the 2 gigs ram and 2.0 Ghz cpu the system is very speedy.

I've used 667 Mhz RAM in a variety of T43/p machines and have never encountered a problem.
