How good/reliable is the T43p Model 2687-M8U ?

My A21P has bit the dust and am looking at the T43p Model 2687-M8U? I'd be interested in knowing your opinions. I have heard of some problems, but have no real data.

That's a sweet combination of CPU and everything else, fast enough, but not too hot.

All depends on:

a) What do you need it for...do you really want a "p" model? Unless you're in love with UXGA (like I am), standard T43s will perform as well for 90% of the stuff, while running cooler.

b) What you're paying for it?

c) Does it have any warranty remaining?

d) Whether you can live with the infamous "2010 error" once you decide to upgrade the hard drive....

Having said all of that, T43p is likely the most reliable T4x machine with ATi graphics. But I happen to love them, and am likely biased...
