t42 14.1 display reinstall

I just replaced the screen inverter and I have begun to put everything back to gether. I place the display back in position and reconnect the gray and black connect back to the wireless antenna. but I have this white wire that also comes out of the display and I can not figure out where it connects to. I thought I was being real carefully but I miss what is connected to. Help.

It's the Bluetooth antenna, which connects to the top of the Modem/Bluetooth card. If it just has a plain old Modem card, just tuck it away somewhere.

Thanks you so very much. I was going nuts trying to figure what I had done. Does having that wire indicate that I could install bluetooth at some point? thanks again so much

Yes you could replace your Modem card with a Modem/Bluetooth card.
