Will a 14" SXGA+ LCD panel from a T42p work an a t42?

Yes, any 14" LCD can be swapped between any T4x's with any ATI video chipset...but you do need the correct cable...XGA or XSGA+. It's easiest, most of the time, just to swap the entire LCD assembly; cover, hinges, inverter, LCD, etc.
