For a free Thai IBM keyboard(assuming that your current keyboard is fine) lie about your keyboard being defective/bad/broken/not responding.

The replacement will be a Thai keyboard. Is this the right thing to do, if you have a functional keyboard? I beiieve not. If you have no moral issues with this, then a Thai keyboard is FREE for the asking!

If your morals are in the way, then a call ti IBM and shelling out some $125ish Canadian will give you the keyboard you seek.

Personally, I get my Thinkpads with a 3 year warranty, when the keycaps are worn down to the point of the lettering gone, I call IBM, I [censored] about the fact I can't see what the key is supposed to be due to the worn-off lettering.

They promptly send out a brand-spanking-new Thai keyboard...Everytime.

Great service with a great dependecy on the honor system and as such subject to abuse.

How you go about getting that Thai keyboard is up to you.

I have replaced 4 so far. 1 was actually messes up when a keycap flew off broken when I did a rimshot off of it. 2 had worn <A> and <T> keys...
