Reprogramming back-page and forward-page to pgup and pgdn

#1 Post by dennis714 » Sat Aug 15, 2009 2:48 am

Are there any tweak to reprogram these buttons so it can act just as PgUP and PgDN? Or anything different?

I don't think so. The only option referring to these keys in the ThinkPad Keyboard Customizer is the option to make them work only if held down for a longer time. This is to prevent accidental activation of page-back/forward functions. The functions themselves cannot be changed there.

The keyboard customizer utility also allows you to assign certain functions (volume up/down, eject) to combinations of Ctrl/Alt/Shift and one of these buttons.
