I tried to format my tp to the original factory state using thinkvantage... only to get a message saying that the option was removed from the computer. Really interesting since I have no recollection of removing whatever software that would enable original factory state recovery option in the first place.

Is there a way to download a software from ibm that would enable the factory state option?

The easiest thing to do is place a WTB for the revocery disk set in the Marketplace.

Just ordered a set of recovery disc's from IBM ATLANTA center... hopefully it should work...
