T40 - Thinkvantage?

Does anyone have any idea whether there is Thinkvantage software for the T40?

The T40 I have was purchased off ebay and does not have the Thinkvantage software on it.

go to the lenovo site and under support, choose drivers and downloads, and enter the 7 number code on the bottom (or let it automatically discover it), and it will have all the drivers. I find that the easiest way to get the thinkvantage utilities is to either download the ones from the t6x (they work on a t41) or use the old access ibm that is availible with the t4x driver page.

If I recall correctly, the "ThinkVantage-type" applications came under "Access IBM" in the T40 (and maybe T41). Look in the Access IBM folder in the start menu for things like "Thinkpad Configuration" Having said that, I believe most of the ThinkVantage software will run on the T40 (not the HDD protection, obviously).
