TouchPad: Vertical scroll on the left side possible?

Hi,

Lately, I was wondering whether it would be possible to configure the TouchPad to use vertical scrolling on the left side instead of the right side, since the surface of my touchpad is starting to wear a little.

Has anybody done this?
