Bad Bios Flash T43 Blinking Battery

#1 Post by elproducto » Thu Sep 24, 2009 2:39 pm

Hello,

I flashed my T43 with the wrong bios and now when I power it on all that happens is a blank screen (no graphics, look like it is still turned off) and amber blinking battery indicator light. When it is just plugged in without touching the power button the battery indicator light is blinking amber. When I hit the power button all system indicator lights light up except the Hard Drive light then the battery indicator light keeps blinking, and the power indicator light stay lite up green. Have I toasted my system? Would I be able to replace the bios chip if this is the case?

You cannot replace the chip because it is tied to the TPM security signature. I think you have a decorative piece.

Disassemble, remove backup battery, wait. Turn on.
If it's still the same, part the system out and sell on ebay
760ED -> 600X -> T22 -> T41 -> T42 -> T60
