SSD and the T43p

#1 Post by t43p'er » Sat Oct 10, 2009 3:16 pm

I am thinking of upgrading the storage in my T43p. Currently I sport an 80GB internal. Space isn't a problem so much as speed, security and stability, so I am wondering if a 32GB Express Card SSD might do the trick. Maybe use the SSD for personal files, install all program files on the C: and partition the 80 for additional uses.

What kind of performance and problems could I expect, is this a reasonable solution?

There are several PATA 2.5 inch SSD that will fit the T43. I have a 32GB Transcend SSD that is pretty fast.

No, you need IDE/PATA. That is an SATA SSD.
