Is it OK to uninstall these from a T41/T42 ?

I don't use the following applications that are installed in the preloaded Windows XP on the T41 and T41. Is it ok and a good idea for conflict and performance reasons to remove them ?

I use Nero so I want to remove that awful Sonic RecordNOW software and DLA but will it stop me from burning Recovery CDs or is it needed by other software ?

WinDVD as I use PowerDVD (would prefer VLC but for PowerDVD has better audio support)

IBM Java as it is old and I use SUN Java 1.50

Any others ?

I just put a clean XP install on my T42. No hidden partitions.

Since I use Nero 6.6, I left out all those IBM Sonic programs. I also used my own Java. I say go for it.
