T40 wireless not working

I had to replace a hard drive on my daughters T40 computer 2374-9CU. everything is working except for the wireless. I searched Levono and found the Dual band wireless driver but I am unable to connect. When I run IPCONFIG I am getting an error that hardware not configured properly. I see the computer is receiving my wireless signal and I do not have WEP enabled. I have an open system to start. I am using Windows XP with service pack 2 since I needed to install the Windows program on the new hard drive again. Do I need to configure something in my wireless networking?

What is the machine type/model from the sticker on the bottom of the machine? It is a 7 digit alpha numeric, .e.g 2337-3CU

This is going to be a bit of a challenge because there are several cards that shipped with T40's. Can you PM me the serial number from this machine please? Don't post it out in the open forum.

I can't lookup the original warranty and parts list because either the serial number you provided is invalid, the machine type is invalid, or Lenovo's records are invalid. I am going to guess that it is an Intel PRO/Wireless 2100 3b Mini PCI adapter. Here is a link to the driver -

That model (2374-9CU) shipped with the original IBM a/b card, but I don't know what chipset that is. I'm only aware of 1 card and 1 driver for the 11a/b card, though.
