Battery Meter Dissapperance

#1 Post by lyle » Sun Feb 13, 2005 10:26 pm

Many times when I unplug or reboot my laptop when it is on batter power the little battery gauge (the windows one, I dont have and dont really like the one from the battery maximiser wizard). I have checked and unchecked the box in the power options in the control panel to show the meter and nothing happens so I know if any one knows how to fix this problem.

Thanks,
Lyle

Right-click over the system clock and choose, "Customize Notifications." In that window, make sure the icons for the battery/plugged in are set to always show.

Try the battery mazimizer meter for a couple of weeks. I actually used to hate it as well, but I figured I'd try it for a while and I actually do prefer it. It's one of those unique IBM things, so when people ask me how to set it up I can say, "Only on a ThinkPad."
